The same product routinely sells for 15–30% more at one Malé seller than another, and the cheapest is usually the same store. That is not a market with a settled price — it is a market where nobody is competing on price systematically, because none of the incumbents buys well enough to make price a weapon. An importer with genuine direct-from-Korea terms can undercut the dearest by a wide margin and still earn more per unit than the cheapest does today.
It also sets the ceiling. The K-beauty sunscreen band is MVR 250–410, clustering 300–355. Anything priced above that band needs a reason a customer can see.
